A Day Out With Thomas

A Day in the Life Family Kids Reviews & Giveaways Win This

day out with Thomas

Both of my boys had a small obsession with trains. They would play trains every day. We had train sets galore in our house, not to mention a slew of the various characters from Thomas the Train. My husband and I loved helping them build long railways and seeing just how big we could make it.

From train sets and characters, to books and television programs, you betcha my kids absolutely adored Thomas and his friends. And I’m sure many parents out there can relate. And I also bet you still have a train set, a Thomas or even a Percy lying around your house! Am I right?!

When we heard that A DAY OUT WITH THOMAS™: THE FRIENDSHIP TOUR 2017 was coming back we were really excited. We have always wanted to go. I am so excited that my kids finally get to experience it this year.

If you aren’t familiar, here is what it is all about…

All aboard! Thomas the Tank Engine invites little engineers to join him for a day of friendship and family fun at Day Out with Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017.

Children everywhere can spend a day with their friend Thomas when the #1 Engine pulls into Uxbridge on August 11 – 13 and 18 – 20, 2017. Day Out with Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017 is presented by Mattel.

Day Out with Thomas is a fun-filled event that provides children of all ages the opportunity to climb aboard and take a ride with Thomas as well as participate in Thomas & Friends™ themed activities.

The tour, now in its 22nd year, will make 42 stops across the U.S. and Canada, and is expected to welcome nearly one million passengers in 2017.

For 2 back-to-back weekends little engineers and their families are invited to take a 25-minute ride on their favorite engine, meet Sir Topham Hatt, Controller of the Railway and enjoy a day of Thomas & Friends fun.

In celebration of this year’s theme, Day Out With Thomas: The Friendship Tour 2017 will feature an array of friendship-inspired activities.

Attendees will be able to participate in events that encourage and celebrate friendship including photo opportunities, crafts, and a fun activity that invites kids to collect passport stamps throughout the day to receive a trio of Day Out With Thomas friendship bracelets.

Thomas the Tank Engine rides depart every 45 minutes, rain or shine. Departure times begin at 9:00 am through 3:45 pm each day of the event.

Tickets for Day Out with Thomas are $25 plus HST for ages two and up.

For the last 7+ years I have immersed myself in the "mom life". My blog, appropriately named Me, Myself and Kids is my life; the challenges, the laughter, and the tears. But I also offer my own version of motherly advice. In doing so, I’ve designating myself as an MD or “Mom Doc”. Not because I know it all. Don’t get me wrong. It’s an open perspective; my learnings shared so you can take the good, bad and ugly and adapt it to your own family life. So please join me as I share all of the crazy and overwhelming thoughts and experiences of the mom life with Me, Myself and Kids.
