A Perfect Gift for Mother’s Day

A Day in the Life Recipes Reviews & Giveaways Things We Love Tried & Tested Win This

If you asked me on any given year what I might want as a gift for Mother’s Day, I’d tell you honestly that I don’t know.

It always feels like I need or want something…like a spa day. Or a manicure/pedicure.

Other times I’d say a new pair of runners, or a gift card to my favorite clothing store.

On most days, I’d tell you I really just want a day off!

But lately I’ve been thinking of one specific gift. Blame it on the flexible diet I’m on, or blame it on my new outlook for healthier eating. Actually I can blame it on my coach and all of those Instagram perfect pictures of the best looking and healthy smoothie drinks ever!

Yup, you heard me right. I’m dreaming of a new blender. Well actually not a new one because (wait for it…), I don’t even have one (gasp). Yes, I’m a blender virgin. And I can’t take it anymore!!

Recently I had the opportunity to attend an event featuring Hamilton Beach‘s newest products. Amazing lineup of everything from coffee makers (a must for every mom), slow cookers (a must for every cook), grills, toasters, mixers, you name it.

But the one that really stood out to me was the selection of blenders. And this is a must have for every mom that loves to be in the kitchen.

There’s a great selection to choose from and my personal fav was the Sound Shield 950.

For the last 7+ years I have immersed myself in the "mom life". My blog, appropriately named Me, Myself and Kids is my life; the challenges, the laughter, and the tears. But I also offer my own version of motherly advice. In doing so, I’ve designating myself as an MD or “Mom Doc”. Not because I know it all. Don’t get me wrong. It’s an open perspective; my learnings shared so you can take the good, bad and ugly and adapt it to your own family life. So please join me as I share all of the crazy and overwhelming thoughts and experiences of the mom life with Me, Myself and Kids.
