Lean Turkey Meatballs

Family Food Kids Recipes Things We Love

Those of you who have been following along for a while, know that while I love my daily chocolate fix, I still watch what I eat everyday.

Whether it be for breakfast, lunch or dinner, I try to make each of my meals healthy. I mean, I still want to be able to allow myself a snack at the end of the day 😉

While a typical dinner would be chicken breast and salad, or baked salmon filet with a side or a salad, I try to make things from scratch too. Not only for me, but also for my kids.

Feeding them boxed chicken nuggets or chicken hot dogs from a package might work some nights, but it doesn’t for all. Plus I want them to have healthier choices and meals more often than not.

One of my favorite meat proteins to change it up from chicken on the daily, is turkey. Turkey burgers or turkey meatballs are a great addition to our mealtimes and the kids actually like it! So it’s definitely a #momwin.

I made turkey meatballs last night for dinner and the kids raved about how good they were. Makes me so happy!

So it wouldn’t be fair to keep the easiest recipe to myself now would it?!

Literally it is the easiest recipe with only 4 ingredients…yes, FOUR!

So here it is, and please come back here after you make and try them and let me know how they went over with your family!

You can serve them in many ways; on a plate of pasta like I made myself last night, or a side of rice for the kids!

For the last 7+ years I have immersed myself in the "mom life". My blog, appropriately named Me, Myself and Kids is my life; the challenges, the laughter, and the tears. But I also offer my own version of motherly advice. In doing so, I’ve designating myself as an MD or “Mom Doc”. Not because I know it all. Don’t get me wrong. It’s an open perspective; my learnings shared so you can take the good, bad and ugly and adapt it to your own family life. So please join me as I share all of the crazy and overwhelming thoughts and experiences of the mom life with Me, Myself and Kids.
