A few weeks ago while playing on Pinterest, I came across a picture of questions to ask your kids. I saved it onto my phone thinking this was such a great idea for something to do.
So last night when I had alone time with my 3.5 year old son, I decided to ask him the questions. He was sort of puzzled at first as to why I was asking, but soon he got right into it.
I wanted to share with you his responses.
Please note that seconds before, one of his toy cars broke (again) and I had just finished yelling at him that he has to stop throwing them around. Just saying…
Here you go…remember, words of my 3.5 year old, without any direction:
ME: What is something Mommy always says to you?
DS: Stop breaking your cars
(really, this is not something I ALWAYS say)
ME: What makes mommy happy?
DS: When I kiss your arm (tee hee, how cute?!)
ME: What makes mommy sad?
DS: When I break my cars (LOL)
ME: How does mommy make you laugh?
DS: When you tickle me
ME: How old is mommy?
DS: I don’t know (right answer bud!)
ME: How tall is mommy?
DS: So big
ME: What is mommy’s favourite thing to do?
DS: Play toys with me
ME: What does mommy do when you’re not around?
DS: Play with baby T
ME: What is mommy really good at?
DS: Paper airplanes (really? that’s what I get?!)
ME: What is mommy not very good at?
DS: When you bought me my new cup and you couldn’t put it back together (ok so this is true, but I DID figure it out eventually…)
ME: What does mommy do for her job?
DS: Clean up (I SWEAR…I did NOT prompt this!!!)
ME: What is mommy’s favorite food?
DS: Salad (um…okay….)
ME: What do you and mommy do together?
DS: Puzzles and play
ME: How are you and mommy the same?
DS: I don’t know
ME: How are you and mommy different?
DS: I’m a boy
ME: How do you know mommy loves you?
DS: Because we kiss (AWWWWWWW)
ME: Where is mommy’s favorite place to go?
DS: Wonderland (uh ya, that’s it…)
Gosh I love him!!!
Try this with your kids, see what they say and share!
