Celebrate Canada with @netflix_ca #StreamTeam – Me, Myself and Kids

Celebrate Canada with @netflix_ca #StreamTeam

On July 1st, we celebrated Canada’s 149th birthday! As a statutory holiday, we all had the day off and we wanted to do something fun as a family. This year we chose to go to the Blue Jay game! And because it was Canada day, it was full of Canadian pride, and the Jay’s organization put on a great show for the crowd to celebrate while we sang Oh Canada.

We had such a great day at the game and by the time we got home we were exhausted. We all wanted a night in and what’s better than relaxing in front of the TV with Netflix!

This month, Netflix has rounded up a series of shows that celebrate Canadian star power. Here are a couple for the kids and adults that we love!

For the Kids:

The Magic School Bus

An oldie but a goodie! This show has been around since I was a kid…both educational and fun.

Super Why

My kids adore this show!

Justin Time

A fun treat for the kids!

For the Adults:

Russel Peters

Have you ever seen this?  He is hilarious!  A must watch!

The Change Up

All I have to say is Jason Bateman and Ryan Reynolds.  Right?!

What will you be watching this month on Netflix?

Let us know what your fav’s are!!

For the last 7+ years I have immersed myself in the "mom life". My blog, appropriately named Me, Myself and Kids is my life; the challenges, the laughter, and the tears. But I also offer my own version of motherly advice. In doing so, I’ve designating myself as an MD or “Mom Doc”. Not because I know it all. Don’t get me wrong. It’s an open perspective; my learnings shared so you can take the good, bad and ugly and adapt it to your own family life. So please join me as I share all of the crazy and overwhelming thoughts and experiences of the mom life with Me, Myself and Kids.
