Sleepover Camp Essentials {Giveaway}

A Day in the Life Kids Parenting Reviews & Giveaways Things We Love Travel Tried & Tested Win This

I remember the day he told me. “Mom”, he said, “I want to go to sleepover camp”. (Insert tears here)

A few of my son’s closest friends were already attending sleepover camp so I could understand why he wanted to go. He has never been away from home for longer than one night.

I wanted him to experience all of things I experienced at sleepover camp. Summer camp was the best! I just never realized he would go when he was still so young! So after much discussion, we agreed that he would go for two weeks to a camp with a couple of his best friends.

Fast forward a few months and we have now entered into May. The weather is changing, the snow has melted and the sun is finally making its appearance. But not only is it a new month, it is now time to start preparing to camp. Yes, 2 months early!

For the past 5 years my boys have been going to day camp. Granted there are things to prepare for like sandals and swim suits and the rest of the essentials, but I had NO idea what it takes to prepare for sleepover camp.

So of course, I started to do my homework and compile my own lists of things we need to get for Z. And on the way, I found some of my favorites. Some are still what we had for day camp, but other essentials that we need for sleepover camp.

So for all you parents starting your prep, here are four of my favorite finds. And keep reading because you’ll have a chance to get your hands on some too!

Disclosure: I received perks in the form of product for the purposes of this post. As always, opinions are my own…

Face Off Cloth

sleepover

I became a fan of the FaceOff Cloth when it first was released. It was the answer to my cleaning regimen. Then the brains behind it came out with the FaceOff Junior. And now my kids are hooked too. FaceOff junior was created with children in mind and eliminates the need for chemical-filled face cleansers, soaps and wipes, which can harm and irritate the skin.

They are perfect for removing face paint, stage and dance makeup or sweat and grime after sports or being outside all day at camp. FaceOff junior does it all. If you order now, you can get 10% off your order with promo code MMK10. Just go to https://faceoffcloth.com

Cubby Cubes

sleepover

SInce this is the first time I’m sending my kid away, I want him to be as organized as possible. I mean if I have no idea what I’m doing, how is he supposed to know what to do?

I want this to be as easy and seamless as possible for Z so when I found out about Cubby Cubes, I knew I had to get them. Cubby cubes are perfect for any travel; your own vacations and for camp. Having gone to sleepover camp myself, I know that the back area with all the cubbies can get quite messy. Things will get lost, tossed or thrown around, so why not keep it neat, tidy and organized? Cubby cubes do just that.

In fact I’ll be using them any time we go away for an easier and better packing experience.
